Montgomery County's "High School Clusters"

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) assigns students in a particular location to schools based on "high school clusters." This just means that students will attend elementary and middle schools that are assigned to one high school. For instance, the Walt Whitman High School cluster is comprised of Walt Whitman High School, Thomas W. Pyle Middle School, and several elementary schools in the vicinity.

School assignments may change periodically, but you can look up which schools your child may attend with the School Assignment Tool.
